All You Need to Know About Eating Disorders

We live in a strange world. It seems that everyone has to be thin to be beautiful. And with a constant explosion new fad diets (usually bad diets) almost every week that promises you will lose weight quickly, it may seem everyone can lose weight quickly and without much effort. The problem with these diets is that they tend to be ineffective and may even be dangerous to your health, both short and long term.

There are many products on the market, and many marketing campaigns designed to convince exactly give these products and diets to try. Diet pills, juice clean, good food lists against bad for weight loss foods, supplements that replace or stimulate natural ingredients. And what can start as simply a way to lose a few pounds, it can quickly turn into an eating disorder.

Eating disorders are very serious and can, in some cases, even death. They cause serious their eating behaviors and problems that must be addressed.

Eating disorders are usually developed over years of teenagers and young adults, and are more common in girls and women. Although it is not known exactly what causes it, researchers believe there is a mix of behavioral, biological, psychological, genetic and social. They also often coexist with depression, difficulty in dealing with emotions, anxiety, low self-esteem and substance abuse.

There experience signs and symptoms people when they have an eating disorder:

* Continue with a strict diet, even when they are underweight;
* If someone keeps winning and lose weight, constantly;
* When someone is obsessed with calorie counting;
* Some people have reduced their food into small pieces and stop eating when they are with others. This could be another sign of an eating disorder;
* If you try to avoid family and friends; they just tend to isolate themselves;
* When people are depressed.

This could help you know if someone you know has this problem and help him / her look for treatment.

When you hear about eating disorders, there are mainly three white: anorexia nervosa, bulimia and binge eating disorder.

* Anorexia Nervosa:

When someone has anorexia nervosa, they tend to see themselves as overweight even though they are underweight. You can identify this mental illness if you notice that the person standing right weight, eating a small amount of food and have to be selected with certain foods.

Anorexia can cause menstruation to stop the loss of integrity of the skin, bone loss, and even increases the risk of heart problems. It has the highest mortality rate of all mental disorders and not only because of the complications of starvation. Anorexia in extreme situations may be the cause that leads to suicide.

* The bulimia:

When someone has bulimia, they usually eat a lot of food, and can not be used. After that, they feel so guilty about what they did and just force vomiting. Others go further: who practice excessive exercise, diuretics and laxatives, or a combination of both.

The problem recognition of a person suffering from bulimia is that these people generally keep their weight. So unless you're around them for long periods during the day, it may not even be aware that they have this problem.

*  Binge Eating Disorder:

Binge eating disorder is linked to bulimia. The difference is that when someone suffers from binge eating, just eat without any control. But they will not vomit or take any medicine after. So usually they are obese or overweight.
